CRS – Certified Residential Specialist
CRS is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers and brokers, who are members of
the National Association of REALTORS®. For buyers and sellers, as well as real estate agents, the choice of a
CRS means that you are working with the best of the best. The CRS designation recognizes professional
accomplishments in both experience and education. Since 1977 the Council of Residential Specialists has been
conferring the CRS Designation on agents who meet its stringent requirements. Currently, only about 3% of active
REALTOR® members are CRS Designees.
CIPS – Certified International Property Specialist
International real estate opportunities are everywhere today. Each day, new people move into the U.S. from other
countries and foreign-born individuals residing in the U.S. move to new markets within the country. Additionally,
some Americans are looking to invest in property overseas. The world has truly become a global marketplace.
Perhaps this describes you as one among this international audience. Or, if you are a REALTOR®, maybe this
describes one of your clients. As a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Designee, Ruth Krinke will
provide you and your clients with the knowledge, research, network and tools needed. Ruth is a seasoned veteran

earned the CIPS designation. Comprised of over 2,500 real estate professionals specializing in all types of real

RSPS - Resort and Second-Home Property SpecialistThis National Association of REALTORS® advanced certification is held by REALTORS® who specialize in the
marketing, sales and/or management of Resort and Second-Home properties for investment, development,
retirement or recreation. Most of the subject properties are located in resort and/or vacation destinations.
Understanding Second-Home investment and such specialties as 1031 tax deferred exchanges is key to working
within this marketplace.
TRC - Transnational Referral Certified
The TRC is a global certification, owned and conferred by ICREA (the International Consortium of Real Estate
Associations). TRC's have the unique opportunity to network with real estate practitioners in 95-plus countries
and cooperate in referring buyers and sellers to local agents who share their expertise in working with an
e-Pro is the National Association of REALTORS® certification program for members who desire to advance their
skills in effectively using real estate technology to grow their businesses and become notably more efficient. E-Pro
certified members learn to apply advanced technologies and social media strategies to expand their business
capabilities, increase their reach, and build trust with clients, customers and other real estate practitioners.
MRE - Master of Real Estate (Colorado)
The "Master of Real Estate" is an advanced Colorado Association of REALTORS® designation that requires 90
additional hours of education, beyond the GRI, as well as active participation in REALTOR® association leadership
at the local and/or state level. Ruth Krinke was one of the first CAR members to meet the criteria and be
recognized in Colorado as a MRE designee.
GRI - Graduate REALTOR® Institute
The Graduate REALTOR® Institute is a nationally recognized designation. The designation sets the standards for
real estate professionalism, knowledge and productivity, by providing sound training in the critical skills of the real
estate business. The GRI designation signifies a dedicated and knowledgeable professional within the industry.
The GRI designation is granted through state associations whose Institute courses of study meet the standards
established by the National Association of REALTORS®.
